Plans & Pricing

Your plan decides how much quota you get and which Pro-only features unlock. This page covers the rules — how a period is counted, whether quota carries over, how billing and cancellation work. For the actual tiers and prices, the plans page is the authority.

The plan belongs to the account

A plan is a property of the account, not a setting on one channel. Buy a plan and every channel you own gets Pro; several channels under one account share the same plan.

The flip side: on a channel you merely help manage, the Pro state you see is the owner's plan, not whatever you bought. That is why a setting you can open on your own channel may sit locked on a friend's.

A period is 30 days

Billing counts a period as 30 days; paying yearly covers twelve of them up front at a lower unit price. Quota belongs to the period: whatever you do not spend does not roll over, and the counter resets when the period ends. Add-on capacity behaves the same way — it is settled with the current period and needs an active subscription to buy.

Free trial quota has its own expiry, shown when you claim it, and unspent amounts lapse the same way. Quota can never be transferred, cashed out or refunded.

Subscription vs one-time purchase

  • Subscription — the card is charged automatically each period. Cancel any time from the Account page; billing stops, and the period you already paid for runs to its end.
  • One-time purchase — buys this period outright and does not renew; when it ends you drop back to the free plan. Handy when you only need to cover one event.

Several payment providers are available and they are not equally capable: some cannot do recurring billing at all and will check out as a single payment instead, and PayPal is unavailable in Taiwan. The checkout tells you as soon as you pick such an option — pick another one.

Upgrades, downgrades and expiry

  • An upgrade replaces the current plan with no credit for the remainder — leftover days are not converted.
  • You cannot buy a tier below your current one. To move down, let the current period run out first.
  • Expiry deletes nothing. Pro-only settings stop taking effect but their values stay exactly as you left them and come back when you renew; anything beyond the free allowance (joined channels, for instance) is frozen rather than removed.

Gifting and receiving

Anything bought on the plans page is for your own account. There is exactly one way to give a plan to someone else: go to their public tip page and choose to gift a plan there.

That route requires the recipient to have turned on "viewer gifting" on their Account page — it is off by default, because the gift page has to reveal their current tier in order to price the gift. A received gift extends the expiry date directly and gifts stack, up to a cap on total service length.

Common misconceptions

  • Quota does not bank. Unspent is unspent. To handle a bigger month, buy add-on capacity rather than expecting a carry-over.
  • Cancelling is not the same as stopping now. The paid period still runs to its end — and equally, cancelling does not refund it.
  • Plans are not bought for a channel. The buyer is an account. To give a channel Pro, buy (or gift) a plan for that channel's owner.
  • A gifted plan is not a tip. Gift money is collected by the platform and never reaches the streamer's payout account; tipping is the one that does.

Settings

The text below is taken from the in-app help, so it stays in sync with the actual interface.

SettingWhat it does
Add period capacityRaise the AI credits available for the current period. Capacity is added to the current period and settled with it — it does not roll over. Requires an active subscription.
Cancel subscriptionAfter cancelling, no further charges occur; paid time remains until expiry.

Other notes

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each period. You can cancel anytime from your account page; paid time remains until expiry.
  • One-time purchases do not renew. You return to the free plan after expiry.
  • Leave empty to buy for yourself; enter a Twitch login to send as a gift.
