Every channel has a public page (chiwabots.com/@yourname) where viewers check
their points, look at leaderboards, browse the reward shop and send tips. This page decides
what that looks like: banner, channel intro, social links and accent colour.
What it solves
Viewers go to the public page for a specific reason — how many points do I have, where am I on the board, what can I redeem here. The page already exists automatically, but out of the box it reads as a system page rather than as your channel. A banner, a short introduction and a few social links turn it into a landing page you can link straight from your Twitch bio.
Getting started
- Set a banner image — pick a wide image from your media library, or use an external URL.
- Write a short channel intro.
- Add social links (up to 8); the order is adjustable.
- Choose an accent colour, then use "View public page" to see the real thing.
Banner image
A wide image works best. Uploads to the media library have a size and dimension limit
(1 MB / 1024 px); for anything larger, switch to the External URL tab and paste an
image link starting with https://. External images do not count against your media
quota — the trade-off is that whether they load at all is up to the host serving them.
Social links
Up to 8 links are shown on the public page. URLs must start with https:// —
an invalid link is rejected when you save, rather than discovered by a viewer clicking it.
Accent colour
The accent colour applies only to your public channel page (buttons, the active tab, text links). It does not affect the rest of the site and it does not affect your dashboard.
If you pick something bright, the page warns you that white text on primary buttons may be hard to read. That is a warning, not a block — you can still use it, but it is worth a look first.
Link preview language
Pasting your channel URL into Discord, X and similar platforms expands a preview card. This setting controls the language of that card and of the browser tab title.
It does not change the language viewers actually see — they still get their own language. Note also that these platforms cache preview cards, so a change can take a few minutes to show up.
Common misconceptions
- The public page's content is not configured here. Whether the leaderboard is public, whether shop rewards are listed, whether song requests and the queue are shown — all of that lives in the respective modules. This page is the shopfront only.
- The public page does not need to be switched on. It is always there; this page only makes it look like yours.
- The accent colour is not a site theme. Dark/light mode and text size for the dashboard live under Appearance — a different thing entirely.

Other notes
- A wide image works best. Media library limit is 1MB / 1024px; for larger images use the "External URL" tab
- External URLs must be image links starting with https://
- Add up to 8 links; they will be shown on your public page
- Applies only to your public channel page (buttons, tabs, links and other accents). It does not affect the rest of the site or the dashboard.
- Only affects the preview card and browser tab title when your channel link is shared on Discord, X, and similar platforms. It does not change the page language your viewers see. Changes may take a few minutes to appear in previews.
