Queue System

The queue system tracks whose turn it is. Viewers join with a command, you advance the line, the bot announces who's up, and there's a public page showing the list.

What it solves

When you play with viewers, the thing that eats your attention usually isn't the game — it's keeping track of the order: who asked first, who already played, who just arrived. Scrolling back through chat for names falls apart the first time it gets busy. The queue hands that bookkeeping to the machine: the order is recorded, turns are announced, and you just hit next.

Getting started

  1. Enable the queue module and set the waiting list limit.
  2. Open the queue in chat with !qstart (!qstop closes it).
  3. Viewers join with the join command; you advance from the dashboard or with control commands.
  4. Optionally bind a Twitch custom reward so redeeming it joins the queue automatically.

Common misconceptions

  • Opening and closing are chat commands, not the module toggle. Enabling the module only makes the feature available; each actual session starts with !qstart. That's what lets you open and close it repeatedly during one stream without going back to the dashboard.
  • At the limit, joining is declined rather than queued behind. The limit counts people waiting, not the total — advancing someone frees a slot.
  • If the bound reward accepts text input, that text becomes the queue note. Handy for collecting "what do you want to play" or an in-game ID without asking separately.
  • Command cooldowns, aliases and permissions aren't configured here. This page governs the queue rules; command details live on the Commands page.
  • The public list page is for viewers, not for managing. Viewers check their position there; advancing, reordering and removing all happen in the dashboard.

Settings

Leave blank to use the bot's default message. Available variables are listed under the "Insert variable" button beside each input.

The text below is taken from the in-app help, so it stays in sync with the actual interface.

Chat commands

These are the default command names; they can be renamed or given aliases in the dashboard.

  • !qjoin — Join the queue, use !join <nickname> to add a nickname to the queue list
  • !qleave — Use this command to leave the queue
  • !qlist — Show Queue List URL
  • !qinfo — Query queue-related information
  • !qstart — Start allow join the queue
  • !qstop — Stop new join request
  • !qnext — Call a new round queue
  • !qclear — Clear queue records

Other notes

  • Once the waiting list is full, !qjoin is declined (max 200)
  • Viewers use these to join or check the queue; mods use the control commands to manage it. Fine-tune cooldown, aliases and permissions on the Commands page.
  • note
  • Viewers join with !qjoin or by redeeming the reward; manage the queue live here. Auto-refreshes every 12s.
  • Show queue note
  • Show the note passed with !qjoin (e.g. game ID) after the name
