Twitch Poll/Prediction

Puts Twitch's built-in polls and predictions on your stream itself. Two separate OBS sources that stay empty until something is running, then appear on their own.

What it solves

Native Twitch polls and predictions only show up above chat or in an extension panel. Anyone watching on a phone, in fullscreen, or through a YouTube restream has no idea one is even running — so they never vote. This board puts it in the video itself, where everyone watching can see it.

Getting started

Add the OBS URL from the Poll tab and the one from the Prediction tab as two browser sources. They are separate URLs — one source won't show both.
Set the appearance: font, size, text colour, accent, background and winner colour. The preview next to the settings updates as you type, so you don't have to save or open OBS to check.
Start a poll or prediction on Twitch as usual. The board appears by itself and fades out a few seconds after it ends.

A prediction goes through four states

Open — viewers can bet; the corner shows the countdown to lock.
Locked — betting is closed, waiting for the outcome. The corner shows 🔒.
Resolved — the winning outcome is highlighted and the rest dim, then the board stays for the dwell time and fades.
Canceled — the board says points were refunded, then fades the same way.

Polls have no locked state — only open and finished.

Result dwell time

How long the board stays up after a poll closes or a prediction resolves. Set it to 0 to fade out immediately. This window exists so viewers can read the result: too short and they miss it, too long and it covers your scene. Each of the two boards has its own setting.

Common misconceptions

This is not the Predictions module. That one is our own feature, played with channel points and settled by us. The prediction here is Twitch's own, played with Twitch Channel Points and settled on Twitch. They are unrelated and can both run at the same time.
The board is a mirror, not a remote. It shows what is happening on Twitch, but you cannot start a poll, lock betting or pick an outcome from here — all of that stays on Twitch.
Twitch Affiliate or above is required. Polls and predictions are only available to Affiliates and Partners. That restriction comes from Twitch, not from us — channels below the threshold see a notice instead of the settings.
With nothing running, the board is completely empty. That's deliberate: leave the OBS source enabled permanently. It appears when a poll starts and fades when it ends, and takes up no space in between.
Sound is off by default. OBS audio goes into your stream, and a poll may have been started by a moderator — defaulting to audible would get you complaints about a sound you didn't know was there. Turn it on yourself if you want it, with a built-in sound or your own file.
Outcome colours follow Twitch. The two prediction outcomes use Twitch's own blue and pink so viewers can match them to what they see in the Twitch interface. The winner colour in the appearance settings applies only to the winning outcome after it resolves.

Settings

The text below is taken from the in-app help, so it stays in sync with the actual interface.

Show countdown	Shows the closing countdown for polls and the lock countdown for predictions. The locked state is still shown when off.
Show vote counts	When off, only the bars and percentages are shown.
Show points wagered	When off, only the bars and percentages are shown.
Custom sound	Pick a file from your media library, or paste an https URL (mp3 / ogg / wav / m4a).
Show number of bettors	Turn off to keep only the points. Polls have no such field — the vote count is the people count.
Board width	px. Widen it for long titles; still capped at 92% of the canvas.
Follow Twitch outcome colours	On, outcomes use Twitch's own blue and pink so viewers can match them to the Twitch interface. Off, they use your accent colour plus a built-in palette. The winner colour is unaffected.
